I am a self-taught artist and work primarily in oils as well as with pencil and charcoal. I enjoy the way the oils move on the canvas and the vibrancy of the colors. My second love is the pencil. The way that it flows over paper and the shadows and depth that I can create with the pencil and charcoal never ceases to amaze me. I can be inspired by almost everything around me. When I pick up a brush or a pencil amazingly something wonderful begins to happen. My hope is that my art transfers' the energy and excitement that I felt at the time.
I live and work in Yadkinville, NC. I love art and enjoy reading and gardening. My greatest inspiration in my art work has been my husband. I value his opinion and his critique of my work.
